Started as a challenge to create the first-ever true lossless compressor. Despite researching about the impossibility due to Kolmogorov Complexity and Information Theory. The ideas that run through our minds gave us hope, just like perpetual machine believers. Every week comes with new ideas, possibilities having episodes of our eureka moment, but then when put to test, fail woefully. We were busy shooting for the stars without knowing that we have already passed the sun. Hope was slowly diminishing, but we have been used to false eureka moments, we decided not to give up but keep on changing the algorithm and keep on testing. Lo and behold We accidentally test a 3D file, the compression ratio was too high we decided to invest over 130,000 Hours to perfect the algorithm so as to compress the 3D data succinctly.
